I (almost) agree this too, for IT specialists it's true, and I won't
detail here and today why French is still spoken in 58 countries and has
been choosen as the reference language for important things like Olympic
games, anyway (and yes, I love vietnamese too, even if I'm really lazy
at learning foreign languages).
But, I think you miss the point of a LUG here!
IMNSHO, a LUG aims at *users*, not at IT specialists. Off course it
needs IT specialists to *help* users. And these users *may* be IT
specialists too. But usualy they are not the majority, or the goal would
have been failed.
This is why we should *not* require LUG *users* to learn english.
