Are-you talking about hanoilug.org?

It's a VirtualServer Debian GNU/Linux "Sarge" 3.1r3 guest on a LVM
logical volume.

The host is also running Debian but with a minimal configuration (as a
host should be, I even plan to let it boot on USB) and a Linux kernel
version 2.6.16 patched with vserver, from backports.org.

The host machine is an AMD Opteron 146 / 2 GHz with 1 GB DDR2 on SCSI
disks (not (yet) secured with RAID, but still backuped every night).

The web site is using WordPress and DokuWiki, on top of Apache 2.0.54,
PHP 4.3.10 and MySQL 4.1, as bring with Debian "stable".

The mail processing is using Postfix / Postgrey and, off course,
Mailman. I planed to add Spamhaus and the "standard" Amavisd-New /
Spamassassin / ClamAV by next month.

The organisation I'm working for is currently hosting it on a BDSL link
with FPT at 320 kbit/s.

I'm currently the administrator of this host & network. As long as there
is nobody against Debian (or me ;-)), I'll continue managing it. But if
"we" decide someday to change this choice (I mean Debian "stable"), I
won't manage it anymore.

My rules are simple:
- Debian "stable" for servers, with as few exception to this rule as
possible and only from "trusted" sources (like backports.org or
volatile.debian.net) ;
- Ubuntu "desktop" for clients, with as "stable" configuration as
possible, but allowing more testing with "unknown" sources
