Hi,
I have installed Ubuntu Desktop 7.04, using French language, with manual
partitioning, without problems.
It seems that the problem with the grub-update exist only when selection of
Vietnamese as installing language is made. Probably because of Vietnamized
commands passed to sed as Thao has reported.
Thus, the live CD Ubuntu Desktop 7.04 works fine, just do an install in English
and when the installation is done, install the language support and Vietnamese
packages.
