Hi Tom,

I don't have any hard data either but based on supply-demand principle
and scarcity of FOSS expert here, you certainly get paid more if your
job requires deep FOSS knowledge. AFAIK, average salary of experienced
employee in IT sector is 500 to 1000$ per month and a few people I
know that work with FOSS usually have salary at upper end of that
range.
