All this is available through the experimental section of the HanoiLUG
apt repository, that is:
  deb http://apt.hanoilug.org/ubuntu feisty experimental

*WARNING* : that's *not* for people wanting a *stable* system!

And, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed... A bit long to go for a
quite bad result! :-(

This was a bit tricky because m17n version 1.4.0 requires the scim-m17n
bridge version 0.2.2 which then requires scim version >= 1.4.6 (Feisty
has 1.4.4, Gutsy has 1.4.7) which in turn requires some "dh_gtkmodules"
tool which is only provided in very last "libgtk2.0" packages. And that
last one is not a good idea to "play" with because a good half of all
graphic applications depend on it... So I cheated by extracting only the
"dh_gtkmodules" tool  (a Perl script) from the last gtk2 sources without
touching my currently installed version of gtk2 (the Feisty one).
